2. INTRODUCTION
An EVM consists of two units,a
control unit , and the balloting
points.The two units are joined by a
five-meter cable . Balloting unit
facilities voting by a voter vai labeled
buttons while the control unit control
the ballots units,stores voting count
and displays the result on 7 segment
LED displays.
3. WHAT IS E- VOTING
Electronic voting is voting that uses
electronic means to either aid or take
care of casting and countings.
Depending on the particular
implementation, e-mail voting may
use standalone electronic voting
machines or computer connected to
the internet.
4. WHAT IS PAPER BALLOT
Paper ballots were pieces of
paper market and supplied by
voters. Before the introduction
of the secret ballots, American
political parties distributed
ballots listing their own van
5. ADVANTAGES AND
DISADVANTAGES
Advantages
● Simple to operate and can
be installed in a short time.
● Preserve voting secrecy.
● No scope for invalid votes
● Modemises the election
process.
Disadvantages
● Security issue and unequal
internet access.
● We have to use external chip
to store the votes.
● We have provide continuous
power supply.
● It is not proportional.
