2. TRANING LOAD
• Amount of work done in a training
session, which indicates the intensity
and volume given in the training
session.
• Through the training load we lead to
the enhancement of sports
performance.
3. FACTORS OF TRAINING LOAD
• VOLUME-
Amount of work done during workout
session.
Example-Number of reps performed in a set of
exercise,
• INTENSITY-
The rate of doing workout.
Example-Rate of doing reps in a set.
4. • Types of Exercise-
Each and every training load consist of
physical exercise/movements. These exercise
have different effect on the performance of an
individual as per the nature and demand
required by a particular game/sports.
These exercise can be classified into 3-parts:
1.General Exercise
2.Specific Exercise
3. Competitive Exercise
5. PRINCIPLES OF TRAINING LOAD
• Principle of continuity.
• Principle of variation in load
• Principle of optimum load as per the indivisual
capacity.
• Principle of rest and recovery between two
training session.
• Principle of general and specific load.
6. ADAPTATION
• Adaptation may be define as the adjustment
of physical and psychological functional
system accomplished under the influence of
training load.
• The physical and psychological adaptation is
the similar process which bring about changes
in the functional, biomechanical and
structural changes in human body.
7. Condition Of Adaptation
• Correct proportion between load and
recovery.
• Adaptation is the faster in beginners in
comparison to trained sports man.
• Specific load leads to specific development.
• Adaptation is not permanent through training
load.
• For optimum adaptation maximum load is
essential.
8. • Adaptation is faster if perfect ratio between
intensity and volume is maintained.
• Variation in training means quick phase of
super compensation.
• Continuity in training and load factor.
