1. Meaning of Learning :
Learning is the lifelong process of transforming information
and experience into knowledge, skills, behaviors and
attitudes. It produces progressive series of changes in
behavior and experience.
The learner acquires the knowledge from in and outside
the school, direct or indirect.

3. Learning is a Process :
“Learning is a universal and continuous process.
It is a complex process too”.- Smith say’s,
1)Motive :
Motive is the dynamic force that energizes
behavior and compels the learner to act. When
the motive is strong, the learner is forced to act
to satisfy his needs.

4. 2) The goal :
Drive is an act of mind. The goal setting
helps him in making the learning
purposeful and interesting. Drives which
govern and affect human behavior.

5. 3) Obstacle :
Obstacle is a block or barrier that comes
in the way of the learner. When the
learner successfully overcomes the
obstacle, he reaches his goal.
