treatment of street animals.
• Located about 20 km east of ktm in the
Kathmandu valley.
3. Dog park
• It is a park for dogs to exercise & play off-lease in
controlled environment under the super vision of
their owners.
• These parks having varying features although
double gated entry & exit points, adequate
drainage, benches for human, shade for hot days,
parking close to the site, water, tools to pickup &
dispose off animal waste in covered trash cans &
regular maintenance & cleaning of grounds.

take into account when planning a dog park
• Dog parks should not be located on forest
areas.
