erection, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, Operations and Training relating to an

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Total Experience: Total 6 years & 7 months experience of Process Operation (production ) in
Gas treating plant(Ammonia Plant). Full Knowledge of Compressors, Gas Turbine , Reactors
(Hydrotreater), Gas treating plant, Separation, Cryogenic process (cold box), and storage tanks
etc.

About Company: Matix Fertilizer and Chemicals Ltd. will be one of the world's largest single stream
plants and the first with a feedstock supply made entirely of coal bed methane (CBM) gas. This
will be sourced from the Raniganj block, near Panagarh in West Bengal. To set up a 1.3 MTPA
single stream 2,200 metric tons per day (MTPD) Ammonia plant
Present Designation: Field Operator (Ammonia Plant):
Plant is under pre commissioning & commissioning phase .All the document prepared like -sop, air
blowing, utility line flushing and log sheet etc. Taking round in field & prepared daily progress
report as well as weekly report. Line checked as per p&id and isometric. Mechanical clearance
given & hydro test checked Pre commissioning activity done like-vessel inspection, packing
loading, dry out of equipment ,steam blowing, Lube oil flushing ,Cooling water flushing ,catalyst
loading ,leak checking ,chemical cleaning , pump commissioning etc.
SCOPE OF WORK:
• Final Desulphurization Section in which Sulphur is removed from Natural gas.
• Reforming Section comprising of Side fired & Top fired Primary Reformer and Secondary
Reformer. Primary reformer Containing Nickle catalyst operating at 756 deg C for reforming of
higher hydrocarbons into Lower hydrocarbons.
• Carbon Dioxide removal section with Absorbers and Regenerators for Absorption of Carbon
Dioxide in Benfield Solution/ aMDEA solution and for Regeneration of the Solution this
technology Supplied by UOP/BASF.
• Compressor house section comprising of Synthesis Gas, Ammonia Gas, Process Air by using
centrifugal Compressor of Power Driven by Extraction & Condensing Type of Turbines/HT
Motors.
• Synthesis Section with Ammonia Convertor and Unitized Chiller for converting ammonia and
condense into the chiller. Ammonia convertor loaded with Iron Catalyst that conversion rate 19%.
• Vapor Absorption Machine in which water is chilled up to 7 deg cent supplied by Thermax. Two
types of Machine Single Effect and Double Effect used in Matix Fertilizer which capacity is 880
TR and 1736 TR respectively.
• Gas Turbine which is used in ammonia plant in Matix Fertilizer for supplying combustion air in
Primary Reformer and rotate Process Air Compressor that’s capacity is 32MW supplied by GE
Oil and Gas.
