MURAL PAINTING
A mural is any piece of artwork painted or
applied directly on a wall, ceiling or other large
permanent surface. A distinguishing
characteristic of mural painting is that the
architectural elements of the given space are
harmoniously incorporated into the picture.
Murals are important in that they bring art into
the public sphere. Often, the visual effects are
an enticement to attract public attention to
social issues.

The Amul girl

been described as one
of the best Indian
Advertising concepts
because of their
humour.
19. Its been a huge pleasure throughout the course, I learnt
the art of expressing of word, imaginations and
emotions in the form of art. Working collectively as a
team, where students are from different branches,
different years where everyone has their own way of
expressing art.
Lastly, our course instructors, Mr. Abdul and Mr. Amit
of the Design Department, who have been very
supportive and interactive throughout the course. I’ll be
glad if I’d be able to learn a part of what they know
about art.
