Gol Gumbaz at Bijapur is
the mausoleum of king
Muhammad Adil Shah, Adil Shah
Dynasty. Construction of the
tomb, located in Vijayapura
(formerly Bijapur), Karnataka,
India, was started in 1626 and
completed in 1656. The name is
based on Gola gummata derived
from Gol Gombadh meaning
"circular dome“
IMPORTANT FEATURES;
Gol Gumbaz counts among
the finest examples of Deccan
Indo-Islamic architectural style.
The colossal structure is made
out of dark grey basalt. It
reaches up to 51 meters in
height while the giant dome has
an external diameter of 44
meters, making it one of the
largest domes ever built

3. JAMA MASJID

The Masjid-i Jehan Numa,
commonly known as the Jama
Masjid of Delhi, is one of the
largest mosques in India. It
was built by the Mughal
Emperor Shah Jahan between
1650 and 1656 at a cost of one
million rupees, and was
inaugurated by Imam Syed
Abdul Ghafoor Shah Bukhari
from Bukhara.
IMPORTANT FEATURES
The mosque is
considered as the best among
all mosques built during the
Mughal Empire as it has the
best mixture of marble and
limestone. The mosque has
three great gates, four towers
and two 40-metre tall minarets
constructed of strips of red
sandstone and smooth white
marble.
4. SUN TEMPLE
OF KONARK

Konark Sun Temple is a 13th-
century CE Sun temple at Konark
about 35 kilometres northeast from
Puri on the coastline of Odisha,
India. The temple is attributed to
king Narasimhadeva I of the
Eastern Ganga Dynasty about 1250
IMPORTANT FEATURE;
Konark Sun Temple, located
in the eastern State of Odisha near
the sacred city of Puri, is dedicated
to the sun God or Surya. It is a
monumental representation of
the sun God Surya's chariot; its 24
wheels are decorated with
symbolic designs and it is led by a
team of six horses.
5. PANCH MAHAL
FOUNDER; Akbar

INFORMATION ;
The Panch Mahal is a five
storey building in Fatehpur Sikri.
Renowned for its exceptional
architecture, it is situated close
to the harem or zenana
quarters, which is fitting since it
functioned as a pleasure palace.
Built by Akbar, the architecture
of Panch Mahal was inspired
by that of a Buddhist temple.

Akbar essentially used
the Panch Mahal for his
relaxation and entertainment.
Entirely columnar, Panch
Mahal comprises of four floors
constructed in decreasing size.
The ground floor of the building
is made up of 84 pillars that
support the entire structure.
