27. STRENGTHS WEAKNEESES
Employees are trained by on-the-job training (OJT)
The Starbucks training program covers all the tasks
baristas will have to do every day in their new job.
Starbucks is a typical example in F&B focusing on the
spirit and working environment with employees,
always considering employees as "gods" that need to
be taken care of.
It takes most new employees at least a month
before they feel comfortable making all the
drinks themselves.
The process to train new employees is expensive.
