SUMMARY
Previously Western Liquor Board Coordinator at Arterra Wines Canada, relocated to Ireland in February
2019. Graduating with first class honors in a Masters in Food Marketing, my research dissertation
explored strategies to increase craft beer sales with a focus on off-trade retail and private liquor stores.

- Receiving and processing orders from numerous Provincial liquor boards across Canada.
- Scheduling of shipping appointments with each liquor board, & planning trailers based on orders to
maximise shipping efficiency and ensure demand requirements are met.
- Daily sales activity reports from BCLDB, shortage reports for all liquor boards, and Daily Tracking of
Orders by Sales category to ensure products are available in desired markets and minimise shortages.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Brand, and Revenue teams to manage the successful launch of NPD
prior to Board deadlines and ensure products meet specific market and legal requirements.
- Integral in supporting the Western Canadian branch of AWC to record their most successful month in
company history in July 2018, while coordinating almost ¾ of the sales volume for the entire region.

- Acted as the intermediary between a team of 25 employees and our Manager and Director.
Responsible for screening queries and complaints on behalf of our Manager and Director and
scheduling meetings as needed. Handled new employee training and responsible for ensuring all staff
were trained in operating coffee machines and draught beer systems to guarantee product quality.

- Managed our beverage offering by consistently analysing sales reports, evaluating product
performance and consulting suppliers to augment our offering, increase sales and deliver value.
- Collaborated with suppliers in organising an event to promote Organic, Biodynamic, and Natural
wine. Lead marketing activities for the event, and arranged a guest speaker from a Spanish winery.

PROJECT WORK:
RESEARCH DISSERTATION: CATEGORISATION THE CRAFT BEER PRODUCT ASSORTMENT (RESULT: 88%):
- Designed, planned, and conducted a mixed-method study to investigate the consumer shopping and
categorisation processes of purchasing craft beer from private liquor stores and retailers.
- Utilised a variety of data collection techniques, including in-depth interviews, triadic/sorting
exercises, and intercept interviews. Secondary research was utilised for further depth.
- Using Excel and SPSS, analysed findings and reached a set of category management recommendations
to improve the craft beer shopping experience and add supplementary shopper value.
PRESENTATION ON SPORTS NUTRITION PRODUCTS TO MUSGRAVE’S (RESULT: 89%):
- Led a research project on the SNP’s market to determine the feasibility of a private-label range of
“protein-products” for Musgrave’s Retail Partners (http://www.musgravegroup.com).
- Based on market analysis, developed a range of product concepts and marketing strategy which were
presented to the Musgraves Head of Own-Label and Loyalty at their corporate headquarters.
