1. Risk Assessment
EquipmentWe will have to take care when using the equipment such as the camera and wire’s. The wires could easily be tripped over and we need to make sure the camera isn’t damaged in any way when filming the music video.AnimalsThere is a group of horses in a field opposite to the one we will be in, however, there is no fence to stop them from crossing fields. The number of them makes them dangerous and less seriously they could ruining our filming.Band AbsenceWe need to make sure that all of the band members are available on the same day, we should plan ahead for this as we do not want someone to be unavailable as we will not be able to film and the filming process will take longer.WeatherWe’ll need to film on a sunny day, if not sunny, dry at the very least. If it starts raining we will have to pack up the equipment in case it gets damaged and it will be a big pain as we wouldn’t be able to film and it would take longer than we would like.EnvironmentThere is a lot of foliage in our place of filming, so we will have to look out for things such as nettles, thorns and some tree’s, we need to take care whilst filming as we don’t want to fall into them or injure ourselves on them.Isolated AreaIn the place we are filming it will be isolated and there may be some dangerous characters about so we will have to look out and be careful.Barbed WireSome of the area we are filming is cornered off by barbed wire; some of the barbed wire has been ripped off and placed elsewhere over the field. These bits of barbed wire are more difficult to see and may cause injuries.
Our group will encounter some difficulties whilst filming our music video and I hope to list them in the table underneath. If we are aware of the hazards we will be able to look out for them and be more careful whilst filming. In knowing the hazards we could also finish filming more quickly and we can plan ahead for fluidity.
