Learning Objective:
To understand and use the
variables in the program.
Learning Outcomes:
ALL - I can understand what a
variable is and how to use it.
Most - I can use variables in a
program and prints its value.
Some - I can apply mathematical
operations on variables and print its
results.
Starter Activity:
Show the students the below
codes and asking them what
print statement we will receive
for this code.
Big question; What will be the
output of print when this
program is executed?
Introduce variable to the students.
Check students prior knowledge
on variables. They will use the
platform Menti.com to share
their ideas about variables.
Explain the variables and its
syntax.(do’s and don’t s)
Core Activity
Group1 (LA):
Write a program with variables holding the
data about your Name, Class, Age and prints
it.
Group 2 (MA):
Write a program which accepts value and
prints it with other strings.
Group 3 (HA):
Write a program which input two values and
display its sum.
Plenary
On sticky notes, students will do
the following:
Write what you have
learnt.
How can you apply this
in real life?
What question would
you like to ask?
