online?
You can pay with KaCyber Pay (eWallet),
Mobile Money, Debit / Credit Card or PayPal
whichever is convenient for you.
Q 4: How many payment options do you
have?
We support several payment methods,
depending on the operator of your choice,
you can pay with cash, Mobile Money,
Prepaid Card, Debit / Credit Card, or KaCyber
Pay (eWallet).
Q 5: How do I know that the seat is already
booked?
There will be a clear indication for the seats
available or the seats that are booked.
Q 6: If I book online how do I get my ticket?
You will receive an SMS with your ticket ID,
after confirming booking you’ll get an e-ticket
on your app or website you can show
at the booking office, a booking clerk scans
the QR code and prints your ticket.
Q 7: Can I be able to book for a specific
date?
Yes with our system, you can pre book to
travel on your preferred date.
Q 8: What happens when I want to cancel
a trip?
You can cancel your trip booking from the
mobile app or website. Operator Terms and
Conditions for Ticket Cancellation will apply.
Q 9: What is the competitive advantage
of KaCyber over the competitors?
Our system is user friendly, fast and secure.
Data security and the fact that we are local
company. Also, you can access the train and
ferry ticket booking through our app. No such
company has this offer in our local market
at the moment.

You can book your ticket from anywhere
anytime using any device; Saves you time and

portals (app, website plus bus operator booking

Q 11: Are there charges imposed on
passengers booking online?
First, the ticket price will be the same as at the
booking office / counter. However, there will be
a service charge for payment processing and
booking confirmation.
Q 12: How do people at bus station know
that the bus is full so that passengers don’t
book more tickets? And how can they stop
passengers from booking extra seats?
There will be a clear indication for the seats
available or the seats that are booked.
Q 13: Does the app have option for
different languages like Luganda and
Kiswahili?
Currently, our app is available in English and
French. Other languages like Luganda and
Kiswahili will be added soon.
Q 14: Can one person book for many
passengers? How many tickets can I book?
Yes, it is possible to book for more than one
passenger. In a single booking, one can pay for
up to 3 passengers.
Q 23: Where do I get / print a ticket?
Printing the ticket is done at the respective
bus you booked. Tickets are printed from
the bus station office after presenting the
ticket QR code or the confirmation SMS.
Q 24: What if I have booked multiple
seats, but only one name appears on the
confirmation SMS?
Kindly check if the number of seats captured
in the ticket booking matches the tickets
paid for.

any Mobile Money pop up prompting the
payment?

Q 26: How long does a payment timeout
take?
It will take about 10 minutes to make the
payment. If a customer takes more than 10
minutes, before payment confirmation the
booking will be timeout and the system will
not accept their reservation without
payment. If the customer still needs to book
the ticket, he / she should start the booking
process again.
Q 27: Does timeout occur when booking
a ticket?
Yes. It happens when a customer takes more
than 3 minutes to key in their details.
Customers should key in their details in a
timely manner.
Q 28: When the passenger books a seat
online, can’t the clerk on the bus book the
same seat?
No, it is impossible, because an already
booked seat can’t be booked twice. There
is no double booking when using KaCyber.
Q 15: Can same information appear on 5
tickets for different seats when booked by
one person for others?
Yes if that person wants to use the same
information on all tickets, then the 5 tickets
will have the same information.
Q 16: What happens if a passenger books
and pays online but he does not receive a
message? Where should he complain, on
KaCyber website or at the bus station?
Is there a refund of money?
First, he should call the KaCyber hotline, for
clarity before complaining. From here we can
see how to help out.

someone else’s phone who has the app?
Yes it is possible, after booking you give the
person the ticket ID.
Q 18: Do passengers sit on their selected
seats?
Yes, they do.

Q 20: Does booking online cost more?
No, tickets booked online are at the same
fares as over the counter. The customer may
incur service fees depending on the selected
