Editor's Notes
When students check in, they are also reminded to attend the mandatory orientation.
Immigration documents: passport photo page, passport F-1 or J-1 visa page, I-94 immigration card, I-20 or DS-2019. If applicable: I-20 transfer pending, I-20 previous school; I-20 change of status, I-797, visa B1/B2, I-551A, job offer letterThe OIPS GAs will review the checklist with the new student and answer any questions they may have. New this year: Focus on the honor code.
The OIPS GAs have their own checklists. They will complete a new checklist for each new student who checks in. After the documents have been scanned, they are uploaded to fsaAtlas (GA does this in the morning before the Welcome Center opens). Each evening the SEVIS coordinator will review all new contact info sheets and scanned documents (fsaAtlas).
