Nourish International is a student movement against global poverty. Nourish students run small
business ventures on their university campuses, raising money to invest in sustainable
development projects aimed at reducing poverty throughout the world.

By focusing on partnerships with impoverished communities, Nourish breaks the problem of
poverty down to a manageable size. Projects are selected based on their potential to empower
the community not just for a day, but for the future. Through participating in this work, Nourish
students gain the skills and experience to become agents of social change and make a lifelong
impact on global poverty.
In 2009, students on 29 campuses collaborated to raise more than $50,000 and invest it in 8
communities across the world. (Last summer, our chapter…)
Join us in our work by making a contribution this holiday season. Give a gift to Nourish in honor
of someone special on your holiday list, and Joe Van Gogh will send them a bag of organic fair-
trade coffee from one of the countries Nourish has worked in. You can even include a
personalized note.
