• Preparation of Quality Management Plan.
• Preparation of a Quality Assurance Plan for the
project.
• Ensuring the work is carried out as per the quality
plan prepared in accordance with ISO: 9001-2015.
Gives final approval for setting up a QA/QC lab at
the site along with ensuring equipment is
calibrated on a regular basis
• Establishing a proper documentation system.
• Ensuring quality control on construction activities.
• Ensuring that all the test results for the
construction material are properly recorded.
• Ensuring that all the tests are carried out in
accordance with relevant IS codes.
• Closing NCR with corrective measures and
carrying out the root cause analysis for the NCR.

• There is no separate area for the laboratory. The laboratory and QA/QC
staff office are in the same place.
• Due to a lack of necessary equipment as per the client’s requirement, a
few tests which could have been done on-site have to be done at third-
party laboratories.
• Lack of temperature-controlled conditions.
• Lack of quality control personnel on-site.
