• Administer internal Server 2003/2008 systems including LAN services, Active Directory Domain,

• Responsible for Windows 2003 server monitoring, disaster recovery, desktop services and internal user

Recent Accomplishments
• Currently in process: Migrate all accounts/servers from one domain to parent company;
• Reduced costs and improved system communications by negotiating mobility contract for 150+
employees. As a result Point of Care and Administrative staff are able to communicate and document
information directly thus improving efficiency and continuity of care.
• Managed NT to 2003 Domain upgrade and Exchange 2000 to 2003 Upgrade. At present, migrating
Active Directory Domain from 2003 to 2008 and Exchange from 2003 to 2010.
• Project leader for Avaya VoIP upgrade, including 4 remote sites, attendant vectoring and call center
programming, upgrade was accomplished with minimal downtime, and resulted in a net savings of
approximately $24,000/year.
• Planned and implemented Blackberry Enterprise server environment integrated with Exchange 2003 to
improve remote messaging accessibility.
• At inpatient care facility, supervised conversion to a new security system provider, ensuring additional
security at patient room doors, clinical and administrative locations, as well as security camera
recording. Responsible for all card access levels, time zone restrictions and tracking and mustering
areas.

• Coordinated and implemented entire server room move. This involved the moving of 32 servers,
managing network cabling requirements, ensuring appropriate power requirements and instituting a fire
suppression system.
• Executed the following pursuant to Home Care Resource Management’s 5-year purchase and sale of a
nursing facility:
o Upgraded domain controller (including adding a DC for redundancy) and built necessary trusts to
integrate networks with parent company.
o Designed DNS, WINS and AD.
o Installed new servers and upgraded applications.
o Supervised all upgrades of the entire acquired entity, including pc, laptops, Multifunction devices
for performance and compatibility.
o Initiated and implemented wireless network access (public and private) to enhance patient
bedside care.
• Coordinated and organized process to eliminate 70+ personal printers to reduce company costs.
Configured 22 multi-function devices (Copier, Printer, and Scanner) for network printing and scanning at
a cost reduction.
• Implemented fax server solution (Captaris/Open Text), integrated with Exchange 2003, thus eliminating
the need for fax boards and dedicated POTS lines.
