Location
The Barangay of Pagligsahan situated is
situated in the 4th district of Quezon City
pounded by Timog Avenue (north) to Mother
Ignacia to Scout Reyes (East) to Scout
Chuatoco (South) to Quezon Avenue (West).
Land Area
It has an area of 57.33 hectares of which
27.38 hectares are residential, 8.55 hectares
are commercial, 7.72 hectares are
institutional,.24 in industrial, .19 is utility, 2.91,
hectares are open spaces, .73 hectares are
vacant and 962 hectares are roads. It has a
total population of 3,766 (106 households) –
as of 2012 census. It has seven (7) sitios.
Population
As of 2010, the total population of barangay
Paligsahan is 4,848 (1,046 households) 2,116
(43.64%) are male and 2,7321 (53.36%) are
female. There are 372 residents who are
below 5 years of ages, 314 who are 5-9, 340
who are 10-14, 480 who are 15-19.54 who are
20-24, 577 who are 30-34, 43 who are 35-
39,340 who are 40-44,262 who are 50-54,169
who are 55-58,100 who are 60-64,53who are
60-64,53 who are 65 to 69,35 who are 79-74,
and 30 who are 75 and above.
