4. NERVES.
2. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
1. GENERAL ABOUT THE NERVOUS TISUE:
- nervous tissue is a tissue with
complicated structure. It
contains main nerve cells and
glial cells.
- The nerve tissue organized the
nerve system. The function of
the nerve tissue or the nerve
system regulate action of the
tissues and organs in the body.
- Orginin of the nerve tissue is
developed from embryonic
ectoderm.
4. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
2. 1. NEURON:
Neuron or main nerve cell
contains cell body, processes and
ending of the nerve.
The cell body:
- The cell body contains membrane,
nucleus, most of cytoplasm.
- In the surface of the menbrane has
many synapses.
- The nucleus usually has spheral or
ovoid shape with big diameter. The
chromatin is usually finely
dispersed.
5. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
2. 1. NEURON:
- The cytoplasm of the nerve cell
body has organelles likes other
cells. Especially, Nissl body and
neurofibril.
- The Nissl body is pieces or
clusters of the dense RER (rough
endoplasmic reticulum).
- The neurofibril is thin fibril, which
desoder in the cytoplasm. The
function of the neurofibril forms
skeleton to the cell and participate
microtransporting system of the
cell.
6. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
Procsses:
The processes or neutites are
projections of the cytoplasm of the
cell body. Based on the structure
and the function, it’s divided into
types dendrite and axon.
- Each neuron maybe has many
dendrites. The dendrites are usually
short and thin but branch profusely
likes a tree. The function of the
dendrite is transmission of nerve
impulses from the periphery into
the cell body.
7. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
The procsses:
Axon, in contrast to dendrite, the
axon is usually biger and longer
than dendrite.
The axons has less branches at
the near segment but has many
branches at the far segment.
The function of the axon conduct
nerve impulse from the cell body
out of the periphery.
8. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
Ending of the nerve:
Based on the structure and
the function, it’s divided into
three types:
- Sensory ending
- Motor ending
- Synape ending
9. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
- The sensory ending is the
ending of the dendrite of the
sensory neuron. it changes
stimulation from inner or
outer enviroment into nerve
impulse.
- The motor ending gives
nerve impulse from the cell to
muscular cells or gland cells.
- The synaptic ending is the
ending contact between this
neuron with other neuron.
10. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
2. 2. GLIAL CELLS:
- The glial cells are small cell. Their
function is surportive, nutritive and
protective to the neuron.
Based on the structure, the
location and the function, it’ divied
into four types:
- Astrocyte
- Oligodendrocyte
- Microglia
- Ependymal cell
Oligodendroc
ytes

3. THE NERVE FIBERS:
The nerve fibers are the processes, which maybe
wraped with the Schwann sheeth. Based on
structure of the Schwann sheeth, it’s divided into
three types of the nerve fiber:
- Primary nerve fibere
- Unmyeline nerve fiber
- Myeline nerve fiber
12. THE NERVOUS TISSUE
4. THE NERVES:
When the nerve fibers get out of the brain or the
spinal cord, they usually gather together into the
nerves.
In the nerves maybe has the nerve bundles. In the
nerve bundle maybe has myeline or unmyeline nerve
fibers or both.
