2. About Us
With a proactive approach to Human Resource outsourcing, our aim is
to contribute to the growth and profitability of all our clients.
We do this by ensuring that you get the most from your staff.
Neil Ouzman, MBA, MIOD, Chairman. In addition to his role as
Chairman at Bridestones, Neil is also CEO of a media company
and a director of a number of other trading and media
ventures.
Julie Ouzman, CIPD, ACIM, Managing Director. Previously co-
founder and HR Director of a large distribution company, Julie
has extensive experience of employee relations issues.
Kay Howard, MCIPD, Account Director. Kay brings with her
more than 15 years generalist experience in both strategic and
operational HR. Kay’s particular specialism's are focussed
around supporting organisations through periods of change,
handling complex employee relations cases and the
application of TUPE.
Sally Mackay, Diploma in Human Resources, HR Administrator.
With over 3 years experience within HR administration, Sally
has the necessary skills and experience to handle any HR-
related enquiries.
Francesca Garnsey, BSc, MA. As Marketing Executive Fran is
responsible for new business development and relationship
management.

Our approach is proactive in nature. It is our aim to ensure that line
managers are fully trained, ensuring that staff are managed correctly and
compliantly thus avoiding any preventable issues arising.
Further to this we will not tie you into any lengthy contracts!

we can become a fully integrated HR team or provide a bespoke service
designed to suit you, your business and your staff.
4. The Employee Lifecycle
The reactive element of our service involves all aspects of the employee lifecycle
and can incorporate advice, support and administration;

Recruitment & Selection
We can assist you with advertising your vacancies and selecting the
candidates. We are also able to aid in the development of job descriptions,
person specifications and volunteer role descriptions and agreements.
New Starter process
We can:
Produce an offer pack containing; Offer letter, Contract of
Employment, New starter details form
Request references and CRB checks
Create and update personnel files, using our Personnel
Management system
Advise on workplace induction techniques
5. The Employee Lifecycle
Leavers
On receipt of a letter of resignation we can liaise with payroll and produce an
acceptance letter. We are also available to advise on how to conduct exit
interviews.
Operational HR
On a daily basis we can assist with:
Absence monitoring e.g using the Bradford factor. We have successfully
introduced this system into a number of organisations, using it to justify
disciplinary action when appropriate
Disciplinaries and Grievances; advice, administration and attendance at
meetings if required
Performance management advice
Updating policies and procedures in line with legislative/operational
changes
Personnel file management via our Personnel Management System
General HR advice; We will provide you with a dedicated advice line,
available 9am -5.30pm, 5 days a week.
We are very confident that the advice we provide will prevent you ever
having to face an employment tribunal, but if the need arises we are also
available to support and represent you through the tribunal process.
However, where possible our first step is to always utilise ACAS to negotiate
a settlement.
We are also able to arrange legal expenses cover if required, please contact
us for further details.
6. Projects
The team are also available for project work on a one-off basis. We
are available for as many hours, days or weeks as your project
requires.

Training
Our proactive approach to Human Resource Management means that
training is at our core. We run regular training sessions at our offices, but are
also able to develop bespoke sessions to suit the needs of your line
managers.

Our team has extensive experience of dealing with restructure and
redundancy projects should you require advice and support on this area.

contract of employment, offer of employment letter and disciplinary and

We are also able to provide temporary HR support in situations such as long-
term sickness or maternity leave.

Health & Safety
Our extensive knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental Law enables us
to ensure that companies meet and exceed the minimum legal requirements.
Payroll
Bridestones highly skilled and dedicated payroll specialists will complete all
payroll-related tasks to an agreed timescale whether you pay your staff
weekly or monthly.
Our comprehensive Payroll Service includes:
Administration of PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, etc.
Completion of statutory returns to the Inland Revenue and to all your
employees
Analysis of payroll costs
Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks
Bridestones are registered as an umbrella body with the CRB to obtain both
basic and enhanced disclosures.
Monthly Newsletter
We issue a monthly newsletter, providing details of legislation
changes and any other HR-related news. We are able to
personalise this for your organisation, using it for such things
as introducing new starters and advising of changes to your
