1. Poster Presentation:
On Monday the 28th and 31st of January you will give a poster
presentation to me and other members of the class.
Your presentation poster will be based on your essay.
The poster presentation will be worth 10% of your final grade.
• 7% will be awarded for your presentation
• 3% will be awarded as you listen and grade other students
work.
2. •Important information should be readable from about 10 feet away
•Title is short and draws interest
•Word count of about 150 to 300 words
•Text is clear and to the point
•Use of bullets, numbering, and headlines make it easy to read
•Effective use of graphics, color and fonts

Details:
• Your poster presentation should last between 3-4 minutes.
• Other students will be grading you.
• Your posters can be created on computer using A3 size paper
or you can make them by hand.

Do NOT:
• Simply read your essay.
• Read only from notes.
• Present differently between students and teacher(s).
• Come to class without your poster (automatically fail)
• Come to class without your notes.

Student Grading:
Students who do not present will listen and grade other
students poster presentation.
You will be provided with a rubric/grading sheet.
Half the class will present on Monday, half will grade. Half will
present on Thursday, half will grade.
