2. Mind Squeeze activity
• After that you have successfully completed the
lesson, you can provide your learners with a
bonus and enjoyable activity.
• Provide them with pictures and words related to
the lesson ,then give them two minutes to look at
them. Finally, turn the page over and see how
many words and pictures can be recalled.
• This activity tests students’ observation and
memory skills.
3. Example
• Let’s suppose you have taught them colours:
1) Give them words as blue, white, yellow
2) Give them coloured shapes as a blue
square
3) Ask them to look for each of the mentioned
above for about 2 minutes.
4) Turn the page over and see how many of
your learners can recall.
4. Bonus (+0.25)
• Make your students motivated by adding
(0.25) to those who got it right. By doing so,
most of the quietest learners will feel highly
motivated to participate in the class.
5. How does Mind Squeeze activity help
the teachers?
• By the end of this activity, you will be able to
know how many of your learners are visual
learners.
• You will notice how learners can recall as
many pictures as possible since they are
engaged in so-called an engaging activity.
• You will get to know more and more about
your learners’ interests so that you can decide
whether you change it or carry on using it.
