Title: Investment Promotion Executive
As an Investment Promotion Executive I am responsible of for:
1. Reviewing proposals submitted by investors regarding investment projects
and advising them on possible opportunities and regulations within the
Sultanate
2. Offering assistance to investors by all means available and on regulatory
procedures within the Sultanate
3. Organizing internal/external conferences, seminars and meetings or
participating in any investment promotion opportunity within the Sultanate
4. Receiving and submitting investors’ applications, issuing the necessary
licenses required from law-appointed bodies overcoming any challenges that
may arise by coordinating with those bodies through the one-stop shop
5. Organizing programs for investors to visit the Sultanate, showcasing its
landscape and potential investment opportunities
6. Organizing conferences and local programs to encourage and promote
private sector initiatives
7. Developing the overall strategy for investment promotion and the
implementation roadmap as well as conduct research and studies on the field
of investment promotion
8. Providing investors with the necessary information, especially ones pertaining
to the investment climate, regulation and procedures of the Sultanate’s
sectors
9. Evaluating laws, decrees and regulations associated with investment
promotion and providing suggestions to the appropriate bodies responsible
