Procedure:
Write letters on the board.
Make students identify the vowels.

4. • The alphabet is made up of 26 letters, 5 of
which are vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and the rest of
which are consonants.
•A vowel is a sound that is made by allowing
breath to flow out of the mouth, without closing
any part of the mouth or throat.
5. Provide students the Alphabet teaching cards,
these cards have visuals of letters on them.
Students will be asked to identify vowels from
the set.
Show students hand motions for all the vowels
and make them repeat them several times.
For final activity a set of words will be spoken
and students will be asked to make hand
motions for the vowel they hear.
