• Vowel lessons and worksheets, PowerPoint
Presentation.
Procedure:
• Write letters on the board.
• Make students identify the vowels.
• Show students video lessons on Youtube such as :

4. Definition
• The alphabet is made up of 26 letters, 5 of which
are vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and the rest of which
are consonants.
•A vowel is a sound that is made by allowing breath
to flow out of the mouth, without closing any part of
the mouth or throat.
5. Follow up activity:
• Provide students the Alphabet teaching cards,
these cards have visuals of letters on them.
Students will be asked to identify vowels from the
set.
• Show students hand motions for all the vowels
and make them repeat them several times.
• For final activity a set of words will be spoken
and students will be asked to make hand motions
for the vowel they hear.
