27. makulanın korunması=macular sparing görmeyen yarı alanda makulaya uyan santral bir
bölgede vizyonun sağlam kalmasıdır.
Corpus geniculatum laterale’nin arkasındaki lezyonlarda hemianopik alanda maküler vizyon
bozulmamıştır. Tractus opticus hastalığında ise maküler alan da dahildir.
