Dec’13. Plant producing 768.8MTPD caustic Soda, 681MTPD Chlorine gas,
80MTPD HCL Liquid (100% basis), 19MTPD Hydrogen gas & EDC Liquid.
Key Deliverables:
 Responsible for monitoring the overall process of chemical reactions & maintaining
the parameters through DCS.
 Liaising with other departments to ensure efficiency in operations.
 Supervising field activities as well as company activities like WCM & SHE.
Significant Highlights:
 Involved in 768 MTPD Caustic Soda Project in Saudi Arabia for Sahara
Petrochemicals.
 Kaizens implemented for smoother operation of the plant.
 Many changes in Ion exchange column regenerations for getting its hardness below
range, changes in Dm water feeding line for electrolysers to avoid tripping of
plants, so many changes in flash vessel to save it from damage on account of
pressure fluctuation of vapour duct line in caustic evaporation unit.
 Many Kaizen Awards and appreciation letters in saving the plant from stopping or
forced shut downs.

Highlights:
 Functioned as member of erection & commissioning team of Membrane Cell Plant
(finite gap) supplied by UHDE.
 Managed cell assembly and commissioning of Reverse Osmosis DM Water Plant.
 Successfully handled erection & commissioning of Schumacher polishing filter as
well as erection & pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of 5th
electrolyser. (UHDE Zero gap cell )
