1. PsychologyofCommunication
Communication is a duel process of exchanging words by any means, in this regard the psychology of it
consists of different components of human interaction such as apparentmeaning, intentions, behavior, body
language/tone and attitude, and these are the parameters required for effective communication. Things go
a bit out of the track when Children having Language disorders, where a child is unable to develop speak
with proper language normally even if the child manages to learn any skill, than he will still be lacking in
others which makes it a disorder. Parents starts to realize at the time when they are not able to make their
children understand something, trying to tell them what they have told them, directing them by means of
speech to do certain things, and one of the hardest is Parenting managerial reaction to their thoughts.
Children with such disorder often find it difficult to put their thoughts into words in one place, unable to
make sentences, low vocabulary below the level of normal children of same age. Uttering missing words
while talking, using some informal words mostly in their speech. Language disorder are different from
Delayed language because in delayed a child develops Language skills consuming more time than normal.
The Impact of this disorder on parents and other family members doesn’t not carrymuch of positive aspects
except they all feel pity and increase sympathy bar with the effected one. The first step to cope disordered
child is to accept him as he is, neglecting it by cursing fate and other medical terminologies is not useful at
all. Parents are stuck in ethical dilemma, and they need to face the other siblings as well who might suffer
from anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral problems, Shyness or embarrassment. Most of the time
its embarrassment as People don’t want others to know that they have a disordered son or brother/sister just
to maintain their status in the society. Regardless of what a Child is going through, People are only
concerned with their desires, wishes and respect. Awareness among parents and especially children about
these disorders is very important to improve the damaged image. On the contrary, Parents must treat their
children with love, care and proper attention especially the disordered ones, so that no child of yours feels
insecurity or gets into a Love/hate complex. (Mary Kristen Clark)
These measurementsand the disorder should not be taken lightly, Parentsafterrealizing the disorder should
consult a Doctor to show their concern towards this. Involving your Family is helpful because a concrete
support is better than expensive medicines, However Proper Medical treatment will still be mandatory.
Encouragement of such Children also increase the rate of improvement in their language skills. Association
with words if they lack speech is also very useful. SeveralLanguage techniques are feasibly available like
Phonology, Syntax and Morphology. The Foundation of a strong relationship is generally is supported by
Language/Communication Skills.
