1. Wrath of the Extremists
There are strong reasons to believe that USA has been the central victim of terrorism. Throughout
the decade several terrorist attacks have been delineated with 47% victims who either on the spot
or died later. Being one of the biggest commercial city of USA, New York has been caught in
terrorist’s bottom trawl. Higher authorities and political activists have failed to assure safety of the
citizens which has made them even more agitated and prudent. Recently suffered incident of this
city is the shooting, which took place on a beautiful afternoon of 20th December, 2014 of NYPD
officers who were shot down by a terrorist named Ismail Abdullah Brinsley, 28. Officer Wenjian
Liu and Rafael Ramos who were performing their daily drill in the Bedford-Stuyvesant
neighborhood located in north central part of New York City Borough of Brooklyn when suddenly
a killer approached their patrol car and shot both officers multiple times in the head and chest with
a semiautomatic handgun. Prior to this incident the killer reportedly wounded his ex-girlfriend,
Shaneka Nicole Thompson, 29 in Maryland. The 2nd consistent shooting took place at Myrtle
Avenue and Tompkins Avenue which then linked to the killings of two unimpeachable NYPD
officers. After the shooting the killer ran for hide out as he was seen by some pedestrians and locals
including two employees of Con Ed, these two witnesses notified the police forthwith. The police
after arriving, chased the revenge obsessed shooter who reached Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues and
perpetrated suicide by his own handgun. All three, two officers and the killer, were rushed to a
nearby hospital but death had already taken them. Officials says that this incident was a response
of Eric Garner 43, who died after police chokehold him for 15 seconds and Shooting of Michael
Brown 18, who was fatally shot by a Local Police Officer. Many allegations were stapled with
NYPD calling this “Racists and Worse”. Subsequently the sight of incident became scene of
pandemonium for everyone as protests began to march against NYPD, this act also enlightened

2. the fire in the media who made a comeback with some exaggerating, non-sensible facts and figures
just for the sake of ratings.
Opportunity is one of the factor which is often overlooked and obvious. A person cannot become
a terrorist unless and until he/she sees a possible chance or platform of terrorist group based on
personal, religious or political hatred, that are willing to let them in; for those wants to be a
potential terrorist, they must undergo a problems that is individuality, which carries suitable social
grouping and motivation to become a severe punishment for others. The fear that is running in the
blood of Americans gushes every once in a while. Every major city and state is being terrorized,
nobody is safe, not even the homeless natives who have nothing to lose. The desire for revenge,
different racial issues are arising day by day. High profiles can be criticized for containing the
information that is not appropriate and useful or must create a base-line at the time of investigation.
Usage of drugs, alcohol and other intoxication which destroying and damaging the American
youth, at homes these are countered with media who controls the minds of this generation, who
spreads everything they want you to believe. Sad to say most of us fall in this ditch of portrayed
lies. Finding the root causes of incidents should not be taken lightly as it may lead to something
that justifies an illegal action. Understanding the integrity and seriousness of this issue, we as
nation must act with patience and instinctive knowledge, free of personal hatred, frustration and
aggression. The general consensus is that the present view of which has a different set of directions
for residents of USA who are caught up in the fire nationalism, tribalism, capitalism, racism and
terrorism, they should learn to preventive and precautionary skills that can create apprehension
and enhance more knowledge amongst them.
