RESEARCH GAP
• Clearly identify the strengths and weaknesses of CMC in education
• Sudden increase in usage-level of CMC in education
• Understand the bare minimum of CMC in education
6. Research Objectives
To understand and evaluate the impact
of CMC-assisted Education on Learning
P
S
• To examine current usage of CMC for different aspects of
education
• To explore the pros and cons of CMC-assisted education from
an educator’s perspective
• To explore the pros and cons of CMC-assisted education from
a student’s perspective
• To compare the effectivity of teaching methods in absence of
CMC to CMC-assisted education from a student’s perspective
• To assess availability of minimum facilities needed to adopt
CMC-assisted education
9. 1. The data received by us makes for a very small sample and the
sample size could be increased to improve accuracy of the
research.
2. Survey does not cover the reasoning behind the responses given
by the participants whether a student or an educator.
3. It would be good to have random interviews with some of the
participants to get a better understanding behind their answers.
4. The ratio of various groups like age, gender, level of education,
etc. may not be indicative of the actual distribution in the real
world.
Limitations
15. Advantages
1. Increase in accessibility
2. Freedom of utilizing additional information
Disadvantages
1. Slower understanding
2. Reduced focus and attention span
3. Decrease in peer interactivity
4. Decrease in approachability of educator
CMC – An Innovation
1. Undeniable and somewhat unique advantages
2. Disadvantages that can be overcome
Current Usage
1. Forced into the Indian Education System
2. Compulsion due to COVID-19 pandemic
3. Educators and students still prefer offline education
Recommendations
1. Integration requires methods suited to CMC-platforms
Conclusion
