9. The study, impact of education in socio-economic
development and women-empowerment is a
laborious and time consuming study. It is very
difficult to conduct such a study only in 05 days.
Besides, some other limitations are as follows:
1. Only 80 villagers were interviewed which
couldn't provide a clear impact.
2. Lack of co-ordination is observed in
government and Non- Government
Organizations.
3. As the study was conducted in office time, so
service holders were not available in house.
4. Time constraints also available.

42. The result of the field survey is very remarkable and
multidimensional and in the study of Moriamnagar
village emphasis has been given on the socio-economic
condition, health facilities, education and on the
empowerment of women. For this purpose we have
collected data of 80 persons of the villagers. About 40%
respondents are women.
Half of the population of the country is women. Socio-
economic development of the country is impossible
without the participation of women. The women of this
village have been interested in co-operative, self
employment, and other social progress. They are mainly
busy with their household activities.
43. In this study it is found that most of the villagers like
marriage after being adult and being self dependent.
They like to educate their children as much as they can.
Villagers are aware of the family planning and most of
the women are not interested to take more than two
children. So we get variety of reflection on the rural
socio-economic life.
About recreational facilities it is found that except
watching TV or gossiping they have no other source of
entertainment.
44. At least one college should be established
immediately in this village.
A large playground is very essential there.
Recreational facilities should be increased.
Availability of doctors and medicine should be
enhanced in the village.
Healthcare of the community clinic in the
village should be ensured.
Income generating activities should be
developed.
45. Women should be encouraged to take part in
social function, local judiciary system and
local political system.
Women education and empowerment should
be increased Various types of vocational and
technical training facilities should be
increased for income generating activities.
Women should take part in social
development activities.
Family planning activities should be increased
46. Village study program opens the gate to come close with the
rural people. It is a great opportunity for the civil servants like
us to come in touch of nature and simple and easy going rural
people. From this program we have come to know the real
picture of a village and its inhabitants. We think this
Mariamnagar village represents the all villagers of
Bangladesh. This is a real chance to be acquainted with the
social, political, economic and cultural life of rural people.
These rural people are deprived of many modern facilities.
Women empowerment, educational facilities, health facilities,
recreational facilities should be increased to improve the
socio-economic condition of rural people. We, the civil
servants have moral responsibilities to make the people
conscious and contribute to the overall development of the life
of rural people.
