The decompression chamber on the KD Sri Indera Sakti underwent refurbishment in April 2013 at the Boustead Naval Shipyard in Lumut, Malaysia. The scope of work included recertification by Germanischer Lloyd, replacing and refitting containers and the environmental control unit, replacing high flow regulators and components like oxygen/carbon dioxide analyzers and viewports, redesigning and testing control panels and communication systems, and overhauling and testing the air storage bank and compressor.
