I has 29 experiences on Procter & Gamble with a technical edge by being a great technical
resource in all the PSG (Packing) technologies as I’m an expert in the UVA22X, ACMA,
UVA350 V400, VS300, knowledge in the AM (Autonomies Maintenance) pillar and the
PM (Progressive maintenance) pillar as I played the role of the PM owner in the PSG
followed by the AM owner followed by the Process reliability owner and finally as Startup
Leader (Currently).
Packing Operations leader
September 1995 – July 2003 (8 years) Egypt
Led detergents packing department including 3 packing production lines with 18 packing
machines, 8 supervisors and 90 technicians and contractors. This responsibility covers
department budget, reliability, service, QA, Safety and all lean manufacturing programs.
Process and Reliability manager
September 2004 – Present (5 year 6months)Egypt
Dry Laundry Packing-Cairo Plant
- Autonomous maintenance leader responsible of making sure that all equipment in the
department are at the right standard and operators have right capability to deliver
operational excellence results.
- Create & present reports detailing maintenance activities, state of the department
equipment, shut down planning, & cost control.
- Responsible for the development of the annual Repair & Maintenance budget.
- Develop & drive the department's reliability vision in line with the Plant's IWS Reliability
Vision
- Work closely with operation leaders to reduce or eliminate down time.
- Set up preventative/proactive maintenance schedules for all equipment & maintain the
PM & equipment database.
- Provide trend & root cause failure analysis that affects the production line safety,
operation & reliability
2. - Train all operators on Autonomous maintenance & Progressive maintenance practices to
leverage their skills & capabilities.
- Train all operators on the different troubleshooting tools (6W2H, Why-why,PM
Cards, ...etc) to leverage their troubleshooting capabilities.
- Coordinate & lead scheduled shutdown events, weekly, monthly & annually
- Own and Control the department budget
Talking projects, I’m also played a major role in the Project Start Ups & TT&T’s
(Technology, Transfer & Training) of the new projects for 6 years.

• Led the startup & TT&T of the UVA 222 (PR 92%)
• Led the startup and the TT&T of the Fairy line(Pilttez machine )
• Led the Startup and TT&T of EOLA’s lines 1,2,3,4,5,6,7
• Contributed in leading the startup and TT&T of the NEW ACMA
• Lead the startup and TT&T of the new UVA’s 350
• Led the application of the big film reels on the UVA 350 (Reapplication from
Istanbul)
• Led the application of the big film reels on the line 2 (Reapplication from Istanbul)
• Led the block bottom project (Ariel 1KG).
• Led the startup and TT&T of Multilane machine (PR 94%)
• Led the startup and TT&T of VS400 machine.
• Led the startup and TT&T of 6 palletizers and two segregation 86% ISU (EOLA
I).
• Led the startup and TT&T of case Erectors (EOLA II) and case Erectors
(EOLAIII).
• Support the DC Start up team to leading the startup of Palletize machine.
• Support Morocco Plant where he performed several trainings and led AM lead
models.
• Support the startup team in Matron to leading the startup of three Machine VS
300.
• Support the startup team in Dammam to leading the startup of Machine VS 400.
• Led the startup and the TT&T of the CI line 5 by install three machine
Head (MXCP_3).
3. • Leading the work on elimination of Palletizer, UVA 350 & Scoop insertion losses
and helping the Novo team to develop action plans to eliminate the rest of the
losses.
