Established and managed own bespoke furniture business providing both design and manufacture
services to a range of clients; unfortunately the business was forced to close due to the economic
downturn in 2008.
Developed and implemented all business systems, processes and procedures as well as devising the
range of services offered and handling all aspects of marketing and promotion to secure clients.
Personally handled client liaison to gather details of specifications, budget and requirements before
producing design proposals and presenting to clients.
Upon approval, oversaw all aspects of production, project managing throughout all stages of the lifecycle
to ensure completion in line with defined budget and timescales.
Handled all work / production planning for the site, ensuring optimum use of resources to maximise
efficiency.
