• The masthead is usually used to establish the brand's identity on the

• Cover lines are lines of text on the front cover of a magazine that are
designed to attract the audiences attention
• Main cover line- largest text on cover (except masthead), anchors the

• By using a colour scheme, the cover is given a more distinctive edge
