From researching my target demographic, it became evident that they favoured more colourful and gossip- based entertainemt magazines over ones with a more serious tone.
What my demographic engages with in terms of my chosen brief Does engage with • Bold typography • High image to text ratio • Celebrity news and gossip • Relevant cultural topics • Cross-media products • Websites that are easy to navigate ( as well as 'easter eggs' throughout websites) Doesn't engage with • Dull typography • High ratio of text to image • Dull colours • Unsaturated images • Formal language • Serious tone
