2. Flashback
The Flashback will be in black and white because
Schindler’s List (Spielberg: 1993) is like a memorial of
Oscar Schindler and the Holocaust, its set in the past
and is in black and white for the majority of the film, a
bit like an old photo/video from the 1940s. James’ red
clothes will be visible like the girl in red in the film.
Present
The scenes which take place in the present, will be in
colour which helps differentiate between the two time
frames.
1. The night before when he was at a club with a
potential love interest, Hershel.
2. They will go to Hershel’s house after clubbing
together to have sex (Off screen).
3. The morning after, James leaves Hershel's home
with Hershel standing in the doorway. They kiss
(not actually, I will make it look like they kiss). A
group of homophobes see them.
4. The homophobes follow James as he leaves
Hershel and launch an attack on James.
1. James will walk into his house in the morning, with
his hood up and walk into the kitchen to retrieve a
bottle of Jack Daniels, the living room door will be
open with Belle sat watching TV. She looks at
James as he walks by and up the stairs.
2. He walks into the bathroom, shuts the door and
looks at his face wounds, taking a few sips from the
bottle.
3. James is still in the bathroom, he begins to cry. He
then looks in the cupboard and sees a bottle of
painkillers.
4. James looks at the bottle for a couple of seconds,
then puts a couple of pills in his hand, puts them
into his mouth and washes them down with the
Jack Daniels. He repeats this a few times.

dead in the bathroom.
