SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
• Responsible for all facets of the successful transition of moving and setting up
two sheet production lines from Kensington, Connecticut to Louisville, Kentucky
• Manage a staff of 20-35 people organized in three shifts, maintain attendance
records, timecards, vacation/personal/sick time, overtime schedules, and conduct
employee reviews
• Perform set ups and change-overs, in-process inspections, provide documentation
• Ensure that production is proceeding optimally and that support services
(maintenance, analysis and supply chain) are provided in the right sequence while
remaining attentive to the requirements of internal and external customers
• Plan and establish work schedules to meet work orders
• Ensure that the production schedule meets quality, turnaround time, cost
effectiveness, safety and environmental requirements
• Optimize the supply chain, especially for reducing inventory
• Solid grasp of health, safety and environmental rules and regulations
• Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment and of the neighborhood, and
protect the environment around their activities
• Ensure that equipment undergoing maintenance is made safe
• Generate work orders for routine and preventative maintenance, as well as repairs
• Maintain a record of open and completed work orders
• Update operating procedures, master records and materials input balance
• Ensure that individual machine operators complete all tasks associated with
running the line
• Ensure all annual training is completed in a timely manner
