2. KEEP EVERYTHING IN ORDER, CREATE A GOOD
ENVIRONMENT, KEEP TIMING AND LET EVERYONE
KNOW THE OUTCOME.
What is the best strategy to ensure that a business meeting can
effectively achieve its goals?
4. THE TALKER
When someone takes the microphone and
does not want to drop it and is taking time
from the meeting, a good strategy is to give
anyone who is in the meeting, the possibility to
stop that person speech but justifying or giving
a good reason to stop it, because you do not
want to start a fight or diminish anyone
opinion.
5. BE PREPARED FOR THE MEETING
Laura Vanderkam shares an advice, about
identifying time wasters because we start not
knowing what we want to accomplish and it is
easier to get distracted on thing that are not
urgent. But planning the meeting and focusing on
the things that are substantial for the meeting so it
will not go on a different direction. So as
Vanderkam says, “Thinking time before you are in it
vastly increases the chances that it is spent well”.
6. TRACK YOUR TIME
If you want to spend your time better you
need to know where it is going so you
work better, start at time talk about every
point, give everyone time to talk and if
you don’t waste time, you will keep
everyone attention, also finish on time,
show respect for your coworkers time.
