6. Screen Resolutions
ISSUE: Some of the content of the site I'm
using isn't displayed correctly. Some buttons
don't appear where they should, or I'm not able
to view the entire web page. What can be done
to correct the way content is displayed?
POSSIBLE SOLUTION: It might have to do with
your screen resolution of your monitor.
If your computer is not able to produce a
resolution of 1280 x 1024 or 1024 x 768, you
may need to use a different monitor or
computer to use all of the site's content.
• Standard resolutions with an aspect ratio of
4:3 (800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1152 x 864, 1280
x 960, 1440 x 1080, 1600 x 1200) are most
likely to work well.
• Widescreen resolutions with an aspect ratio
of 16:10 (1024 x 640, 1152 x 720, 1280 x 800,
1440 x 900, 1680 x 1050, 1920 x 1200)
are recommended for widescreen displays
when a standard resolution is not available.
• Widescreen resolutions with an aspect ratio
of 16:9 (1280 x 720, 1600 x 900, 1920 x 1080,
2048 x 1152) are not recommended.
