1. Download and install VirtualBox on your operating system. 2. Create a new virtual machine by selecting a name, type, RAM size of at least 1GB for best performance, and dynamic disk space allocation. 3. The virtual machine file can now be installed and you are ready to install an operating system like Windows 7 onto the virtual machine.

1. How to install a virtual machine with Virtual Box.
Let’s start.
1.First you have to download and install the Virtual Box.
You have to search Vitual Box on Google and open the official web page however.
2. And then you have to choose the version of Virtual Box for your Operating Sistem.
3.After the installation, you will see a shortcut in your desktop. Double click on it, and the
program will start.

2. 4.Once opened, you will see the start screen of the aplication.
Now, if you want to install a virtual machine, you have to click the button that says “nova, nuevo,
new” depending the language you installed the application.
5.Once you press “New”, you should see that window.
You have to choose the name of the Virtual Machine, the type and the version.

3. 6. After that you should see that window, and there you have to choose the size of the RAM
memory that you want to use in the Virtual Machine. The aplication recommends you to select
512 MB of RAM. Instead we recomment you to use more than 1 GB of RAM because the Virtual
Machine will work better.

7.There you have to choose the extension of the Virtual Machine the default is .VDI altough you
can choose the one you need.

4. 8.In this window you have to choose who you want to allocate the space for the Virtual Machine
in your HDD. You can choose the fixe size, even tough we recommend you to choose the
dinamic size alocation because allows to the Virtual Machine to ocuppy the size that she need.
9.Here you have to put the name of the file where the Virtual Machine will be installed. And the
space that you want to assign for the V.M. on the HDD

5. 10.And we finish therefore you are ready to install the Windows 7, overwise if you don’t want to
install Windows 7, you just have to delete it. Good Luck
