25. LIWAYWAY , THE DAWN OF KOMIKS
- leading Tagalog weekly magazine published in the
Philippines since 1922. It contains Tagalog serialized novels,
short stories, poetry, serialized comics, essays , new features,
entertainment news and articles and many others. In fact it is
oldest Tagalog magazine in the Philippines.
- The Romualdo Ramos and Tony Velasquez’s ‘Kenkoy” series
began in January 11,1929, and several materials that followed
were mostly “comical” in nature
