1. Shooting/Shot Schedule and Ordering
1 Establishing Shot To set the scene at the beginning of the trailer to help the audience identify
the sort of atmosphere the film will have and to add a sense of fear
2 Long Shot/POV Shows the murder taking place and puts the audience in Lauren’s position,
with them seeing what she is witnessing
3 Close Up This shot will show the fear on Lauren’s face as she watches the murder
4 POV The point of view shot will again show the moment he kills his victim and then
he turns to notice her

5 Close Up As she dials 999

6 Medium Shot As she brings the phone to her face
7 Close Up Showing the phone to her ear and her mouth as she says the planned
dialogue

8 Long Shot We see Lauren walking down the street as she continually looks over her
shoulder, feeling paranoid that she is being stalked
9 Over The Shoulder The murderer is watching her behind a wall as she walks down the road
10 POV/Close Up A close up of her locking the door and checking the handle from her
perspective
11 Extreme Close Up Checking it is locked

12 Medium Shot As she gets out of the shower in the bathroom and begins to dry her hair after
getting dressed. She then looks up and freezes in fear
13 Over The Shoulder A shot over the shoulder of the murderer as he stands behind her with their
reflection in the bathroom mirror
14 Two Shot A shot from the perspective of the mirror as they stand together

15 Long Shot From a short distance we are shown Lauren as the murderer pushes her into
a car wearing a blindfold and gag along with her hands tied behind her back
16 Two Shot From behind, Lauren is walked into the garage by the murderer
17 Close Up We see her blindfolded and gagged close up
18 Two Shot/Long Shot He is stood behind her as he seats her on a box/stool, showing the dark
atmosphere and him leaning over her
19 Extreme Close Up We are shown a very quick shot of the knife, pull focusing on it with her faded
in the background
20 Close Up From the left side of her face as he rips off her gag
21 Close Up From the right as he rips off her blindfold
FADE TO BLACK
22 Establishing Shot Of the two detectives working with evidence in their office
23 Over The Shoulder The male detective reading a note sent from the murderer suggesting that if
they don’t find her soon she will be killed
24 Two Shot The two detectives begin sticking things on the board and drawing links
between pieces of evidence
25 Over The Shoulder The male detective says to the female detective “We need to work quickly”

26 Close Up x 6 A series of fast paced close ups as the murderer gets closer to killing Lauren.
They show the clock counting down to 0:00, her face, his face and the knife
