2. 1. WEB:
World Wide Web. A system of Internet servers that support specially formatted
documents. The documents are formatted in a language called HTML (Hypertext
Markup Language) that supports links to other documents, as well as graphics,
audio, and video files.
2. W3C:
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international organization committed to
improving the web. It is made up of several hundred member organizations from a
variety of related IT industries. W3C sets standards for the World Wide Web
(WWW) to facilitate. W3c- World wide web consortium. Founder: Tim Berners-
Lee. Founded: 1 October, 1994
3. Arpanet:
Arpanet in full advanced research projects agency network experimental computer
network that was the forerunner of the internet. The advance recharge project
agency an arm of the us defense department funded the development of the
advance research project agency network (ARPANET) in the late 1960s.
4. Internet:
The internet is the global system of interconnected computer networks that uses the
internet protocol suite (TCP/P) to communicate between network and device.
Sometimes referred to as a “network of networks” the internet emerged in the
United States in the 1970s but did not become visible to the general public until the
early 1990s. By 2020, approximately 4.5 billion people, or more than half of the
world’s population, were estimated to have access to the internet.
5. Email:
Email is a method of exchanging messages (mail) between people using electronic
devices Email enter limited use in the 1960s but user cloud only send to user of the
same computer and some early email system require the author and the recipient to
both be online simultaneously similar to instant messaging. Email operates across
computer networks, primarily the Internet. Today’s email systems are based on a
store and forward model. Email servers accept, forward, deliver and store
messages. Neither the users nor their computers are required to be online
simultaneously they need to connect typically to a mail server or a webmail
interface to send or receive messages or download it.

The Simple mail transfer protocol is an internet standard communication protocol
for electronic mail servers and others message transfer agents use SMTP to send
and receive mail message.
7. Mine:
Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) is an internet standard that extends
the format of email messages to support text in character sets other than ASCII, as
well as attachments of audio, video, images and application Programs.
8. TELNET:
A terminal emulation that enables a user to connect to a remote host or device
using a telnet client, usually over port 23.For example, a user may telnet into a
computer that hosts their website to manage his or her files remotely. In the image
is an example of a telnet session. As shown, a telnet session is a command line
interface. Telnet, developed in 1969, is a protocol that provides a command line
interface for communication with a remote device or server, sometimes employed
for remote management but also for initial device setup like network hardware.
9. HTTP / HTTPS:
Full form of HTTP is Hypertext Transfer Protocol and HTTPS stands for Hyper
Text Transfer Protocol Secure.
10. Blog:
A regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or
small group that is written in an informal or conversational style.
11. Mobile Telecommunication:
Mobile Telecommunication is the process of sending, transmitting and receiving
information over a distance with the purpose of communicating. This form of
signal transmission takes place with assistance of some sort of mobile device.
Mobile technology is typified by internet enabled devices like smart phones,
tablets and watches.
12. Address: An address is a collection of information, Presented in a mostly fixed
format used to give the location of a building. Apartment of other structure or a
plot of land.

In computing a plugin is a software component that adds a specific feature to an
existing computer program when a program supports plugin it enable
customization.
14. Web page:
A web page is a document commonly written in HTML that is viewed in an
internet browser. A web page can be accessed by entering a URL address into a
browser address bar.
15. Forum:
A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be
exchanged.

File Transfer protocol is a network protocol for transmitting files between
computer over TCP/IP connections 16

Contact page, Directory page, E-Commerce page, Social Media page, Blogs ,
Portfolio, Magazine, Homepage etc.
18. Website:
A website is a collection of related material that contains text, images, and may
also include video, audio or other media. Website is a collection of web pages and
related content that is identified by a common domain name and published on at
least one web server. Notable examples are wikipedia.org, google.com, and
amazon.com
19. Type of Website:
The Educational website ,The E-Commerce website, The Authority website ,The
Business website , The Media website , The Utility website , The Sales website ,
The Lead generation website etc.
