2. TICS in the teaching duties.
In our teaching days, we have to try to innovate our classes with new methodologies to
teach. It is important that the TICs comes to make much more creative than some years ago; on
Internet it can be found many tools that the teachers can use in the classes and make it the
teacher´s work. In this post, it is going to talk about some digital tools that can make your duties
much easier.
The first tool, it could talk is about DIIGO
this is a tool in which you can make
bookmarks and give you the bookmark the
websites so, let them as a pending task to read
it again. Something that it is very lovely is
that you can highlight, underline and make
annotations in the readings. In addition,
DIIGO gives you the opportunity to make groups and share with the group´s members. To use
this tool, you need to install the extension for your browser, this is one of the things that it could
be consider a negative part; it would
be better if you could use the tool
immediately without installing any
type of extensions. Another tool that
the teacher can use GOCONQR, this
tool is for making flashcards. This is
a very easy tool that and you can get
your digital flashcards very easy. From the teaching point of view, it is important to say that the
3. teacher has to have very clear the main objective to use this resource. The flashcards are a very
useful tool in which the students a short review but at the same time a fun way.
Something is very fashionable, nowadays, is
the blogs in which the teacher can use it a way
to have a closer contact with the students. In
addition, the blogs can give you a very
interactive teaching not only with your
students but, also, other teachers and students can find your blog. The infographics, it is a way to
make a concise and short summary about a specific picture. This tool gives a clear idea about a
topic that the teacher can emphasize and need the teacher that student focuses on.
As a conclusion, the TICs come to improve the
teacher´s work and make the classes much more
creative and innovative. It is important to say that
the TICs become a media to attract the students that
belong the newer generations because at this
moment there are happening a rapid switch of
generation in which there is a generation that see
how technology starts to change, a second
generation that starts to use it and third generation
that starts to be birth with it. Something to take into
account is the correct to way to use the TICs because the teacher cannot to abuse of technology
neither put it away.
