It gives me pleasure to provide this recommendation for Mr. Mark Pitt, Mark worked
for My Company Genesis Universal Trading from November 2009 - March 2013.
Mark was brought in to the company as Business Developmentmanager, due to his
prior time spent working in Afghanistan he was able to use his past contacts to obtain
more business for the company, he was not only tasked with this position but also he
took on the additional roles of overseeing the commercial bakery unit that was a part
of our business, whilst the bakery manager was out on his vacation periods, he did
this whilst also maintaining his own position. Mark also took great interest in the
overall running of the business 'also dealing with customer services, and operation
procedures whilst the operations managers were out on vacation.
As time progressed and the commercial bakery became more and more productive, he
felt the need to get the company registered in line with European standards as many of
the new contracts being awarded for the NATO contingents were asking for this and
took the steps to implement the ISO certification. This was a long and sometimes
difficult path to take but in the end the company was finally certified with ISO
9001 :2008 and also 9001: 2200 for both the Commercial bakery and the warehouse
side of the business.
Mark was very proactive within the business and was always available to see clients
and or meet with people for a tour of the business, to discuss ways in which the
company would be able to help in there procurement needs, and will always do his
best to provide the service that the client requires.
Should a position have arisen that we feit Mark would be suitable for within the
company we would have certainly re employed him.
I would have no hesitation in recommending him for employment as he is an asset
that is hard find in many companies today.
