Key Responsibilities:
1. Placed purchase orders with approved vendors and ensuring timely delivery of materials &
goods, and other supplies or services necessary for the efficient and cost effectiveness operation of
the organization
2. Plans/generates requisition for stock items or receives approved requisition from end users for
buy as required (BAR) purchases
3. Prepares and sends request for bid/proposal to accredited/qualified suppliers. Reviews and
evaluates proposals, submit order placement recommendations and generate purchase orders for
approval.
5. Monitor open orders (OOR) report and follow-up or expedite delivery with suppliers. Updates
delivery schedule in ePM, SAP and Oracle system promptly and avoids/prevent aging orders
6. Resolves delivery issues expeditiously with suppliers such as quantity discrepancy, short
shipment, invoice problem, rejections and returns of goods, and others.
7. Conducts regular meetings with factory functional teams and suppliers with regards to supplier
performance improvements.
8. Regularly interviews current suppliers and meet new suppliers to obtain information concerning
