Pakistan was in India before independence in 1947 – common
history & were citizens of the same country
Share borders with Pakistan – neighbors
India is keenly interested to have good relations with Pakistan –
several attempts made
Military leadership, dictatorship & political instability in
Pakistan does not allow to have cordial relationship
Kashmir is the main reason for the differences between the two
nations – 1/3rd of Kashmir (PoK) is still with Pakistan
Pakistan sponsored terrorism is well known to everyone
Long term peace solution is yet t be formulated between these
two countries

Indo-China relationship were developed in many years –

India was the first country to recognise Chinese Communist
Government in 1949

China invaded India in 1962 & won the war
Border tensions still prevail – recent Dokhlam issue
China claims Arunachal Pradesh as its territory
No permanent demarcation on the border present leading to tensions

China helping/supporting Pakistan against India on all fronts

Relationship
India & USA are the two biggest democracies in the world
India’s relationship with US has changed in recent years
Earlier US supported Pakistan in many ways by supply arms,
fighter jets, economic packages, etc.
India remained neutral in the cold war between US & Russia
India & US have one common agenda of eradicating terrorism
US & India support World Peace and united Nations
Organization
Presently, US sees India as its biggest partner for trade and
bilateral issues
US is also supporting India on a permanent seat in UNO

India & Russia share a very good relations
Russia has helped India tremendously with economic, military
and modernization over years
Russia being a communist country has supported India during
Chinese aggression
Russia supported India during liberation of Goa in 1961
Russia mediated between India & Pakistan to sign the Tashkent
Agreement in 1966
India & Russia entered into 20 years Treay Peace, Friendship &
cooperation
Russia has supported India with military equipment over many
years
Russia is also supporting India on a permanent seat in UNO
