National & regional magazines
1.
2. • National magazines have to retain a few valuables each time they
create an issue. They must always stick to their respective genre
whether that be film, music, sport, entertainment, fashion or food.
Their content can vary in different forms such as interviews, Q&A,
reviews, comments etc. They try to include a wider range as possible
in order to attract a range of people throughout the country. They
may have a target audience in mind or a specific age range but they
always look for ways to make the gap bigger in order to attract a
bigger audience. They tend to include articles that feature 'world
exclusive' to show that the content is valuable not just nationally but
internationally.

5. • Regional magazines share similar qualities to national magazines.
Their content in each issue must be attractive and interesting for their
readers to read. They also do this including various articles involving
reviews and interviews depending on their genre. However, their
content tries to aim to be as regional as possible. This is due to the
fact that their audience is going to buy it so they can keep up to date
on what is happening in their area. If it fails to do this it will lose
purpose and this will result in the loss of readers.
