2. Film trailers are important as it is a way of attracting their audience from showing snippets of
what the film will consist of.Trailers usually consist of it being a length of 2-3 minutes, as it
shows only the main highlights of the film which will be of interest to the viewers.The whole
idea of trailers is to show sections of the film to people who like the genre of the film.This is
also means that people will know what to expect and see in the film. It would be advantage to
the company who created the trailers and cinemas, as because it is advertised on social media,
the internet, newspapers, television. A larger variety of people would be eager to see it in the
cinema due to the popularity it as got from this. Another reason of having film trailers would be
to inform the audience of when it going to be released in cinemas for them to go watch. By
showing the release date allows the audience to be updated of when the actual film will be
released. Trailers do not release the whole of the film but just only small sections of the plot .
By doing this effect, it leaves the audience to be curious and encouraged and what is about to
happen next in the actual film.
