Due to my game being set in
Japan I am going with a
neon themed colour
scheme. This has a similar
resemblance to the newly
anticipated cyberpunk 2077
Purple is
another colour
that is neon
esc. And will be
a perfect fit for
a Japanese
‘punk’ scene.
I’ll be using a Japanese font to
represent the place where my
game is set and to give it an
aesthetic feel of being in
Japan.
The theme I will be
going for will match this
background image using
dull natural lighting
with harsh rain
powered by bright neon
colours to give it a retro
‘cyber-punk’ feel to it.

reasoning and more detail for the rating.
Copyright infringement Make sure all media taken, fonts used etc. are
royalty free so there are no consequences.

Children possessing and playing the game. Using techniques they’ve seen in the game
such as violence or gambling.
Choking hazard Make case as childproof as possible as the
age rating is 18+ a lot of the customer base
may have children meaning the game case
could be a choking hazard to avoid this in
production I will curve the edges and make
the plastic firm and hard to break in case a
child may come into contact with it.
Copyright (indirectly health and safety but still
a possible outcome to prepare for)
Due to the game been a sequel to the
original sleeping dogs there would have to
be consent coming from the original
producers of sleeping dogs (square enix).
